3. Why did European countries want to explore for new land and wealth? (P. 106-8, notes)
4. Why was salt cod so valuable? (P. 108, notes)
5. List and briefly explain the similarities and differences between the English and French fisheries
(P. 112-115, notes)
6. Please review your answers to #1, #2, and #3 on page127 and #1 and #2 on page 128.
Please review ALL your notes and completed questions. Please read the Chapter Two: Summary on page 140-141 to assist you in understanding key outcomes.
